Shamanism in the Primitive & the Sophisticate

In this fascinating description of shamanism, Dr. Baker speaks from personal experience of growing up near the Zulus of South Africa. We learn much of his early years in what most of us would consider unusual circumstances. Many South African places are mentioned, as well as the history of interactions between the Zulus, the Boer farmers and the English. It was during one of these experiences that Dr. Baker first realized he was not like other little boys of his age. He discusses how all of us on the esoteric path have something of the shaman ability within us. He goes into a definition of shamanism and how they operated, expanding upon his personal experiences and knowledge of the Zulus to include other cultural shamans, and discussed the power of certain things which have meaning to the shaman. He then moves into an explanation of the Bach Flower Remedies which contain the essence of the plants they come from, and how they should be used. (74 min.)
